"We loved spending the night in a glam tent. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the outdoor shower. The restaurant and bar staff were so nice and made sure we had everything to make our stay great. "

"This property had everything we could want and more. To start, the property is massive with a soccer field, pool, a sweet horse, foosball, ping-pong, pool table, fruit trees, and a river running alongside the house. There are tons of beds to accommodate a lot of people. Each room had its own AC and was very comfortable. We felt very fortunate enough to receive coconuts, avocados, and other fruits from the trees. The property manager and staff are very attentive to anything you need. The only complaints I have was the kitchen was a bit disorganized and didn't have a lot of the items we needed. The property manager was quick to buy things to supplement. The other complaint, which really wasn't that big of a deal, was the bathroom is set up more like a dorm. There are two showers and two bathrooms in one area with a two person sink. We are family of nine and we made it work. Sitting on the covered patio, watching the rainstorms was magical. It was only a 30 minute drive to all the activities in La Fortuna. We would definitely stay there again!"

"Upon arrival the gate and house codes we were given were backwards, and the alarm kept going off. The few numbers we called for help we couldn’t reach anyone. We finally got ahold of a 24/7 emergency number through the property manager Vacasa. We explained what was going on and they said they would have someone get back to us. No one reached out. We were not given clear instructions upon entering or leaving. We also weren’t left any keys to unlock the main door leading out from the kitchen to the veranda. This house is insanely loud. I was a bit skeptical with reviews but no, I don’t know how any person can sleep next to that road. The sound was majorly amplified into the house as it’s all open air and very thin wood walls. The house itself is old and gives an old cabin feel. The kitchen was great, minus the uneven floors. Would have been better if the door wasn’t locked and we could more easily access the veranda. The outside was nothing but beautifully landscaped and well taken care of. There were many areas to sit and enjoy meals, games; reading and coffee. Great to relax in the open air. The pool was clean, the jacuzzi didn’t work as per the booking guidelines. The beds were comfortable, and the fans helped cool it down in the evening but during the day can get pretty stuffy. We also weren’t left any garbage bags, or face cloths. All in all we enjoyed our time outside but would not be booking again due to the extreme loud traffic and lack of communication. "

"Hidden down a dirt road awaits a rural escape. This was a great place to stay, comfortable, private and surrounded by nature. The location is only a 15 minute drive to La Fortuna and a 5 minute walk to the grocery store. Our Host responses were prompt and we highly recommend."
