At very short notice and without a booking we were found a table and dining for 5 people in the very busy restaurant so allowing us to have an evening meal and get to a show at the local theatre. Top marks. Having been prompted to reserve a table for breakfast on Sunday morning we turned up at our reservation time only to be told that there were no tables available. "We stayed here for one night just as a stop over before a family party. The disabled access bathroom was excellent and the room was fine but the carpet could have done with a good clean. We ate in Coopers Restaurant in the evening for convenience. The food was good but we felt over priced. There appeared to be a bit of a staff problem as a team from another Hilton had been drafted in. Hats off to them as they really did their best in obviously unfamiliar surroundings."
