"Overall this place was picturesque... everyone was very helpful went out of their way to make sure everything was just right. The only complaints I have, they were repairing the walkway lights, it was very dark at night, thank God I had a flashlight on my phone. But I did pass an elderly couple who are trying to find their room so I help them. Also their tools were left laying around. This is only temporary but it did kind of catch me off guard for such a great looking, well kept facility."

"Beautiful hotel with all the amenities you could want. Fabulous setting and trails throughout their forested grounds. Very attentive staff at all levels, though special shout out to Jessica in the restaurant who took great care of us. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Short walk into the center of Santa Elena. Short drive to almost all the Monteverde area's attractions. Great place to stay and would definitely return again."

"The worst part of the stay was finding the lodge. Our GPS kept going out and there NO signage, not even one sign which I feel is inexcusable. It added on an extra hour and a half to our arrival to the lodge in addition to the frustration factor. But once there, the stay was wonderful. Staff were very helpful-they helped book different activities and book restaurant reservations. The location on the edge of the rainforest was great. The only downside was availability of restaurants-a 30 min drive...

"We stayed at Amor Arenal for 3 nights and had the most amazing time. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the room was beautiful and the facilities in the room were brilliant. All staff were incredible, from check in to the restaurants. The food at the restaurant was also incredible! We managed to see the volcano from our room and the restaurant, so beautiful. It isn’t walking distance to anything but that didn’t matter for us. The yoga & meditation platform was under construction while we were there...
