"Nice, peaceful and relaxing but sure needs updating. Not the place to go if you’re looking for excitement. Staff was excellent and friendly! I would go back but only for R&R."

"This property is in a guard gated property and check in was seemless. We were given the keys and the place was in great condition and the view was nice. Some of the bad things the door gets a little stuck on the floor when opening and the key lock you have to make sure you pull it tight in order to lock it. In the master bedroom one of the blinds to block out the sun does not work. You can bring it down but it does not go up. And the traffic you can hear it first thing in the morning so everyday...

"Highly recommend!!!! This place (Serenity) is truly phenomenal and we could not have asked for better accommodations!!! The owner, Greg, and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The property is beautiful and kept in immaculate condition. We had a great stay and will definitely stay again! The property is gated and each unit has a private garage. We felt very safe. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and hot tub and the privacy was a plus! Cannot say enough good things about this place!!!"

"Read the listing carefully to decide if this place is right for you. This is not a luxury stay, but it does give a unique and rustic experience. We enjoyed getting a little away from the tourist hotspots and seeing a more authentic side of Costa Rica. The animals made quite a bit of noise during the night, so be aware of that if you are a light sleeper. We stayed 2 nights with our 5 kids, and they had a lot of fun. My kids loved the dogs, playing in the river, and the loft/bunkbeds. The farm...
