"We were very disappointed that The Hilton Metropole had no reservation for us despite us having an email confirmation from Hotels.com showing our room had been paid for a year ago. Several staff looked at their monitors but could not find the reservation we then had to move around the corner to speak to someone else which was quite embarrassing. They did assure us that they would be able to find us a room but it was a bit uncomfortable."

"I stayed at the hotel a day before I was to continue there for a conference. Whitney is amazing!!! Just awesome! Nothing was too much trouble. However, I asked the gent in the mornings at the desk to please refill my shower gel and he didn't - I had to ask Whitney and it was done almost immediately. Breakfast was ok - wasn't awesome. Not a lot of choice in drinks and no hot chocolate for those who do not drink coffee. It was a very nice stay, just wish that the shower gel and shampoo was checked...

"I have wanted to stay here for years and the experience lived up to my high expectations. I paid extra for a city view room and it was worth it! - the view was amazing! The service I received from everyone was great too, the team really went out of their way. I was able to check in slightly early, got a complimentary drink and a nice personal touch to my room. Room could be heated to your own personal preferences . Access to a lovely pool. Perfect place to stay if you are attending a function at the ICC as it has a private access bridge to the centre accessible via your keycard.
