"Akra hotel was a great stay; spacious, clean, and with a dedicated staff. Communication may be a slight issue with some language barriers. This hotel is, however, not very close to many of the attractions or places to visit in Phuket, which is apparent if you look atthe location of the hotel on the map. It's made accessible via Grab. Approximately 45-60 minutes to either old town Phuket or Petang, and further from southern beaches. Some smaller cities are nearby with good beaches & good food."

"This property was clean for the most part. I would go back if I needed to. There was a weird smell in one of the bathrooms and the beds are really hard. Not comfortable at all. However the service was great. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. The little food they did have on the menu was really good.
