"EXCELLENT! The Surin does not miss a thing. Every little detail from the beach bags, hats. The pillow menu. It was all just divine. Each and every staff member who served us was so kind. The pool is just gorgeous and the right depth. The sun beds were so comfortable, the beach- the cleanest you’ll find in Phuket. My partner and I dined at the beach restaurant and tried the degustation and every dish was delicious and balanced. The place does have stairs so guessing if you were needing wheelchair access it would not suit you. But we did travel with our one year old and had no issues around the property as the carts are always available to transport you where you need to go. We would come back in a heart beat and am already dreaming of it. Thankyou Surin for an unforgettable experience. "

"This was one of the best, if not the best hotel I have stayed at in my life. Comparing this to hundreds of hotels I've stayed at globally; it was better by miles in every aspect possible than anything i have ever stayed at. Everything was just too perfect. I believe this is the ultimate spot for anyone looking for an extremely luxurious, quiet and private stay. The attention to details was something i have never seen before, truly astonishing. They took every note/request i had and did it better than I asked for. Will be coming back here every time I visit. "Wonderful stay at Outrigger hotel in Surin! Highly recommend staying here. ( I am very fussy) arrived late at night, check in was fast and easy hotel to find with Grab. The first room was very noisy( slamming doors, paper thin walls) immediately I was upgraded to a bigger room with private pool. Guide(manager) listened to all my concerns and solved them swiftly. New room was beautiful, quiet ( except when a family checked in above me, kids jumping and banging Around) the private pool was cold and I loved it. The hotel is beautiful and clean. A walk across the street to Surin beach ( they have security to help you cross) the beach has bigger waves, lots my prescription glasses in the ocean. guide brought me my spare glasses to the beach so I could see! The breakfast is good and changes. The service here!! Omg it’s so good. All smiles. Everyone said hi and checked on me. I was solo and 6 months pregnant. I felt very safe and taken care of. The only down side is that people can smoke in the seating outside the restaurant and with the doors open your eating while breathing in second hand smoke. It’s a shame because it’s toxic for our health. They did offer to bring me my breakfast to my room( since I’m pregnant) but I also want to enjoy the restaurant. I think they should not allow smoking at the pools or restaurant for everyone’s health. Other than that I would go back 100% the staff made my week there amazing! Thank you Outrigger team! "Likes: - Friendly and efficient staff overall - Free on-premise (only) bicycle for each adult guest - Hotel transportation to private beach - Great view of lagoon - Privacy as this is a villa only property Improvements needed: - Brakes on most bicycles couldn't stop the bicycles (the property has lots of downward slopes) - need to use feet to stop on the narrow road to avoid incoming buggy cars - Waited ~20 minutes under the hot sun at the outdoor activities centre for the staff to arrive in order to get and use the hotel kayaks"
