"Really pleasant stay at Movenpick Bangtao. Its a tad old but the hotel is well maintained and the environment is great for families. It has large rooms, a nice pool and close to the beach. There are mosquitoes though which can be annoying. Overall still 5 star"

"Relaxing location, quiet and away from major nightlife but enough bars and restaurants to choose from. Hotel itself is good and the pool areas well designed and maintained. Staff are superb. Room large (deluxe seaview) and always clean. It also had adequate amenities. Breakfast was OK but range of options was a tad limited. Beach access outside of rainy season will be great I'm sure. During it high tides and rough seas prevent meaningful access. That said the full Bangtao bay is wonderful. "

"The hotel was great, the staff were lovely and very helpful. Taxi rank opposite was a great help! We preferred the rests shops and nightlife in Kamala which was only a 300bht ride. My only complaint is the beds, they felt damp and are lumpy. "
