One thing to note is that I had read in several blog reviews that, when choosing a dinner course at the Saffron restaurant, there would be options for appetizers or desserts. However, on the day of our visit, only a fixed menu was served. I wasn’t aware that this had changed. The food was excellent. "

"Lovely place to stay. Bit more on the expensive side when it comes to Thailand. Great facilities. The 360 bar with amazing views the pool was fantastic and the food great. Just didn’t like them adding tax and other fees to the bill of your food. Never seen them do this anywhere else in Thailand. Other than that great stay."

"Had a great and relaxing stay at this beautiful hotel! Service was friendly and efficient. Enjoyed many hotel acitivities such as learning to windsurf, basics of Thai massage and using the new spa. Site does have some construction and building noise can be heard during the day in some areas. Other than that, stay was perfect!"

"I visited with my family, mother in law and a 2 year old. They had everything we needed! Pool right outside our balcony, I was worried about having a pool so close to our room because of my 2 year old but they had so many locks on the doors and the lock to get into the pool was not reachable for my toddler. So that made me so happy!! Very kid friendly establishment, also fun for adults, the beach club was fun and everything was walking distance. Massage on the beach, tons of food options on the beach as well. Loved loved this place!!! I was so sad to leave!!! "

"great hotel with awesome pool for the kids. great family rooms with heaps of space. bang tao didn’t have many shops or many dining options along the beach. lots of little bars along the beach. wouldn’t stay in that location with kids again even though the hotel was great"
