"Our first time staying here as an overnight stay to break up a journey from Edinburgh to London, I had booked the gatehouse. The accommodation itself was lovely with interconnecting rooms for our children, however I hadn’t appreciated the gatehouse would be situated right by the main road (which is a pretty busy road) and my children found it hard to sleep with the noise. Main hotel is nice, kids enjoyed the pool (but it is now apparently £10pp which feels a lot on top of your room) and...

"Upgraded me free of charge last minute to a deluxe room with balcony park view, staff are amazing, room is amazing, a theme park fans dream waking up to the coasters testing right past your balcony, sitting with a morning coffee watching them test, rooms are silent unless you open the doors so dont worry about noise, thank you so much!"

"The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The room was great and the views are spectacular. Prices for eating are very reasonable. Easy to go for long walks on the promenade or the beaches. Close to other amenities, shops, etc. Surrounded by lovely countryside to go exploring."

"Really nice stay. Used the spa facilities for 2 hours. Very relaxing and clean. Room was lovely - we upgraded to the loft rooms. Very spacious and had a separate bath and shower. Even a television in bathroom so could watch whilst having a bath. Bed was very comfy. Also went down to have dinner at the restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious. Had breakfast buffet in the morning which was nice as well. Overall a very relaxing stay and looking forward to staying again. "

"Great stay, nice location, little walk to Blackpool attractions but not too far if you good at maps. I liked the security at the hotel. Great views on match day. Hotel room was nice & comfy, however, heating was temperamental. But all in all would recommend it. "

"The property is a little different the way it is run, you pick your keys up from a box outside using a code number for the box. Reception is not manned and a continental breakfast is hung outside your room in the morning. If you require a English breakfast they have a sister restaurant. This may not suit everyone but for the price and a couple of days away it was fine for us. I would certainly look at staying again."
