"Nice stay. Several of our party (3rooms) were not able to check in at 3 and waited until after 4 for room allocation. This did not help with the children as they wanted to use the pool and had no room number or anywhere to change. Luckily they all used our room not that convenient though."

"Fantastic building full of character and history. Courtyard rooms are lovely but not overly great on soundproofing as we could hear the neighbours too easily, also, the blind in the bathroom was an awful fit to the window but overall a brilliant experience that I would do again in heartbeat. My wife and I played hide and seek in all the nooks and crannies of the castle and we’re both in our fifties so a fab place"

"Brief stopover to break a long drive. Conveniently located just off the A1, quiet (although check for events) and clean. Nice bathroom, comfortable bed and happy not to have breakfast included as I needed to leave early. WiFi was not good and I ended up using data. "
