"The Churchill was a lovely hotel and the staff were kind and helpful. We did have a smaller double which was next to a store cupboard so we could hear staff go in and out but this was minor. would stay there again "

"comfortable traditional hotel refurbished. Room on the top floor ok for one night but fairly small made more claustrophobic by the view from the windows being half blocked by the parapets of the edifice. Comfortable bed and great breakfast"

"Stayed in a superior room.Lovely stay at a beautiful hotel , All the Staff were excellent. The rooms were cleaned to perfection. Meals including breakfast couldn't have been better. Plenty of parking and lovely walks. All out time there we NEVER had disturbing noise from other rooms, perfectly quiet. The ONLY let down was the Pool was closed due to refurbishing. Should be lovely next time. I would highly recommend this hotel ."

"Room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. Bed very soft. Breakfast good. Had evening meal, daily carvery. Food only lukewarm and vegetables overcooked. Staff were attentive and did offer to warm my dinner up. Think the chef could tske actions to improve food by cooking vegetables in smaller amounts to maintain freshness. Dining toom rather chilly. "
