"A very authentic Egyptian hotel experience, a little oasis in the absolute best location for ‘the valley of the kings’ & very many temples. Peaceful location within authentic ‘Luxor’ farmlands, beautifully placed & located with views of the ‘valley of the kings’ - a very ‘unspoiled’ and genuine place. I considered a large chain hotel, I’m happy I chose this beautiful building, lovely gardens, swimming pool, local small business shops for convenience very close by. Lovely home cooked dinner, nice buffet breakfast. Owner can help with tours & take care of your every need no problem! Lovely staff & very hospitable. "Our stay at Amon Hotel has been really amazing and quite memorable. From the service we received, the friendliness and welcoming of the staff, and the beautiful rooms and courtyard making our stay one of the most memorable and lovely times since we’ve been in Egypt. We also really enjoyed the food that was prepared (breakfast and dinner), making it very easy and convenient to have a meal without having to leave the hotel. The cost of the hotel for us was very reasonable. The staff were really nice and helpful. We highly recommend this lovely gem of a hotel for anyone staying in Luxor. It’s a ways out from all of the bigger and busier areas making our stay that much more relaxing and pleasant. Thank you for an amazing experience!"

"I had a lovely stay and was treated like a princess by Mahmoud every time my meals were served, meals so large it was impossible to eat it all Massive room and great air conditioning and a 10 minute walk to the ferry to the main tourist historic sites . My luggage was damaged and a repair service was used to get me back to Cairo and onwards back to Dunfermline, Scotland "

"It was situated in a quite area along with the locals and other hotels near by. The entrance to the hotel is deceptive as inside it is very big and has a large swimming pool. The team looking after the guests were absolutely friendly and helpful. The hotel food is cheap and delicious with a good selection. I would recommend this hotel for any family stay."

"Ahmed the hotel manager could not do enough for us. Everything we requested was no problem. He sent us a tour guide Mo who was excellent he was passionate about his home town Luxor and was very knowledgeable. Budget hotel with excellent staff. Would definitely recommend."

"Very clean room, plenty of hot water in the shower. They have nice rooftop. All the staff and managers were kind. I was able to comfortably relieve the fatigue of my trip. This was the best hotel on my trip to Egypt. Thank you. "
