"This hotel is top-notch. They take very good care of their clients. To be honest, there was a medical emergency due to an issue with the air conditioning in our room, but they brought in a doctor and took care of the situation and even brought in the engineers and made sure everything was fixed. And took care of us to the point where they moved us to a new room. It was the most amazing experience ever. Their food is amazing. Their breakfast has so many things to choose from. You get Uber full, the pool overlooks the Nile? It is the most beautiful a vision you could imagine sitting in an infinity pool, looking over the Nile, I would highly recommend this. Hotel for a night before a Nile Cruz. This way and the next morning you could start your cruise and tour when it's not hot. Staff was beautiful, helpful, friendly.Just highly recommend this hotel"

"Well, this is out of the way, for those who want or love the peace and quiet of country air and life. Transportation is available to any of the historic sites, or market, or grocery-store, or take-away food shops. Souvenirs are abundant at the Valley of the Kings area before entering the gate, but you will need to work hard to get really great bartered prices. Walk away, and the price will come down! From this hotel, you will have access to whatever you would like in the beautiful ancient city of Thebes/Luxor. We arrived by bus from Cairo for $9.00 each, which is a wonderful price in 2025! and the hotel is very inexpensive...we spent 10 days there and will definitely be back for a longer stay of peace and quiet and rest and watching Christian videos with our phone internet or their internet service. Our room was large, beautiful, and modern, and the owner was very hospitable and willing to do anything for us! One warning: there are semi-dangerous dogs around the region of Luxor, so use the Rick-shaws or taxis, or keep a pocket full of rocks to chase off and away the dogs, and never touch their puppies! "

"The Djorff is an amazing place, the building is a literal work of art. It over looks the Nile River and has amazing sunrise/sunsets. The crew that works there is fantastic and their attention to detail rivals any 5 star chain. Breakfast, which is included with your stay is amazing. It is served on a patio which is next to the pool. It really is a special place. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels, this place is closer to a resort feel than hotel. 10/10 would recommend it to anyone staying in Luxor."

"Our stay was magnificent. We arrived early from our flight, and they accommodated us immediately with a room, even before the check-in time. The breakfast and restaurants were really good. At checkout, they allowed us to stay longer at no extra charge before our flight back. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The hotel is well-maintained, clean, and located in a beautiful area. I definitely recommend staying here!"

"From the moment we arrived, to the moment we cheched our we were well taken care of. The staff works very hard to make sure everything is to your liking. In the morning you will awaken to hot air balloons lifting off nearby, with King Tut and his friends hidden in the mountains. Reasonable tours and food and more. The rooms a very nice as is the pool, but again it was the people that made it incredible."

"WOW!! No other words This place is a true Jem. It’s nestled on the other side of Luxor in a very quintessential Egyptian village on the banks of River Nile . From excellent restaurant to amazing pool . This place is oasis !! I am a Canadian and travelled with Young family. This hotel beats any 5 star hotel in Cairo and Luxor. "We truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a little oasis on the west side. Close to all the sights on that side of the river but also close to the boats that can take you to the east side with all the other temples. The hotel was in good condition, we really enjoyed the courtyard! The food was good, breakfast was a buffet. The pool was great too, even if a little too chilly for me (we went in early March). The staff asking for tips was not necessary, but everything else was great. Our room (family of 5) was spacious and everything was clean. The mattress could have been a little softer ;) but we all survived ;) "

"After we found a taxi to take us it was only 20 minutes from the airport Very friendly owners and even with a power cut on arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful. A bit rustic but quaint."
