"An incredible hotel. We spent a week there. The hotel is super well located, c10 mins walk into the centre of town. On the banks of the Nile with incredible views of the Valley of the Kings and the Nile. The swimming pool floats on the Nile and is just wonderful. The grounds that run down to the Nile are beautiful and a real oasis. The service from all the staff however was just on another level - its definitely a 5 star service. All the staff were friendly, helpful, genuine, caring, attentive, but done in a very professional manner, not over the top, just right. The staff made our stay very special and thats what we remember most. You are treated very well by everyone and all the restaurants, bars etc are very good and places you want to go to, away from the hustle and bustle of Luxor itself. I cannot rate this Hotel and its staff high enough, we will definitely visit again next year. "

"This hotel is a gem. We were immediately greeted by the owner of this majestically built modern palace. Overlooking the grand river Nile, and the city of Luxor, we were treated to an amazing venue with great rooms, including a balcony and large vaulted ceilings, you are truly treated like royalty. Includes a great breakfast, if i lived closer i would make this detination a yearly getaway. "

"A very authentic Egyptian hotel experience, a little oasis in the absolute best location for ‘the valley of the kings’ & very many temples. Peaceful location within authentic ‘Luxor’ farmlands, beautifully placed & located with views of the ‘valley of the kings’ - a very ‘unspoiled’ and genuine place. I considered a large chain hotel, I’m happy I chose this beautiful building, lovely gardens, swimming pool, local small business shops for convenience very close by. Lovely home cooked dinner, nice buffet breakfast. Owner can help with tours & take care of your every need no problem! Lovely staff & very hospitable. Highlights - valley of the kings & a hot air balloon experience - this is ‘bucket list’ - dreams come true stuff! Thank you New Memnon Hotel x Helen x"

"An absolutely beautiful hotel in the most amazing grounds. Staff can’t do enough to help, service is outstanding. Facilities are outstanding - huge manicured gardens with tropical trees and plants, volleyball, tennis, 3 pools (importantly one is heated!), spa (extra charge, not cheap) petting zoo/farm, several boats waiting to take you across the river, taxis on demand (very cheap), travel agent in the lobby to book tours (at only a day’s notice). Buffet restaurant plus a la carte Italian, Asian and kebab restaurants and a bar. Food is good. All rooms are spacious and have comfy balconies or terraces, all with Nile or garden views (or both) "
