"A very authentic Egyptian hotel experience, a little oasis in the absolute best location for ‘the valley of the kings’ & very many temples. Peaceful location within authentic ‘Luxor’ farmlands, beautifully placed & located with views of the ‘valley of the kings’ - a very ‘unspoiled’ and genuine place. I considered a large chain hotel, I’m happy I chose this beautiful building, lovely gardens, swimming pool, local small business shops for convenience very close by. Lovely home cooked dinner, nice buffet breakfast. Owner can help with tours & take care of your every need no problem! Lovely staff & very hospitable. Highlights - valley of the kings & a hot air balloon experience - this is ‘bucket list’ - dreams come true stuff! Thank you New Memnon Hotel x Helen x"

"Great place to stay and relax"

"Quality place to stay. Breakfast was great and we ate once in the Italian restaurant which was also very nice. For breakfast aim to get a spot on the balcony and enjoy some views of the Nile. The hotel partners with Nasco for their tours (i.e. Valley of the Kings) and they were really helpful. A little more expensive than some other operators but always felt like we were in solid hands, which wasn't the case when reading some reviews of other operators."

"An absolutely beautiful hotel in the most amazing grounds. Staff can’t do enough to help, service is outstanding. Facilities are outstanding - huge manicured gardens with tropical trees and plants, volleyball, tennis, 3 pools (importantly one is heated!), spa (extra charge, not cheap) petting zoo/farm, several boats waiting to take you across the river, taxis on demand (very cheap), travel agent in the lobby to book tours (at only a day’s notice). Buffet restaurant plus a la carte Italian, Asian and kebab restaurants and a bar. Food is good. All rooms are spacious and have comfy balconies or terraces, all with Nile or garden views (or both) "

"The property is unique thanks to the owners (Marina's) keen eye both interior and exterior design. The pool is relaxing and beautifully maintained. The rooms are all unique again showing the owners discerning eye. Being in the west bank of Luxor it is ideal for exploring the Valley if the Kings, Hatshepsuts mortuary temple ect all being within 15 minutes drive of the hotel. A driver can be hired for 4 hours from reception. All in all this is one of the most captivating hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at. Alcohol is not sold on the premises but you can bring your own alcohol and consume on the premises. If you want a change to the conventional mundane modern hotels then i cannot recommend the Djorff Palace enough."

"Our stay at Amon Hotel has been really amazing and quite memorable. From the service we received, the friendliness and welcoming of the staff, and the beautiful rooms and courtyard making our stay one of the most memorable and lovely times since we’ve been in Egypt. We also really enjoyed the food that was prepared (breakfast and dinner), making it very easy and convenient to have a meal without having to leave the hotel. The cost of the hotel for us was very reasonable. The staff were really nice and helpful. We highly recommend this lovely gem of a hotel for anyone staying in Luxor. It’s a ways out from all of the bigger and busier areas making our stay that much more relaxing and pleasant. Thank you for an amazing experience!"
