"Had a wonderful long weekend (3 night) stay here. It's a short, easy walk from the main tourist strip so simple to get around Florence by foot. It's also easy to get to from the airport with tram and bus to just a few blocks away. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. "This is outside of where we normally stay (near SMN) but it was excellent. Great staff, you can buy food in the lobby & micro in the main room. We learned to take the bus to wherever we were headed for the day. There’s a killer gelato place at the Piazza Baccaria where we went daily. Easy walk to caffe and dolci because we didn’t want the available hotel breakfast. Good restaurants. A lot less touristy and better prices, yet only 3 blocks from the Arno. "This is a campground. We stayed in a mobile home. The mobile home was a bit grimy. They have a good restaurant, though. If you are coming in from the Via degli Dei, go around on the road. The gate on the Via degli Dei doesn’t let you in unless you call them and someone comes to open it. They do have a free shuttle to the train station. "

"Tired and dated, it could use a coat of fresh paint. I did appreciate the funky art and homey touches, though. Room was the smallest I have ever slept in but the bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and super helpful and the location was unbeatable. Breakfast was varied and generous. I would stay again."
