"Anna was just a delightful host - because we came in late, we asked if she could provide us a simple meat/cheese tray (at our cost of course) and she provided a 4 course home made meal!!!! It was fantastic and we ate leftovers for our entire stay. The villa is just beautiful and had everything we needed and more - be sure to come in warm weather to use the pool. It's a perfect home base to explore the area - but be prepared to drive the curvy roads - which is half the fun! "

"L'endroit est idéalement situé à environ 30 - 45 minutes du centre historique de Florence et à 20 - 30 minutes des commerces. Calme absolu dans cette charmante petite maison où seule Renate (la propriétaire) vit et s'occupe de vous si besoin. La piscine est très agréable et la terrasse pour déjeuner à l'extérieur est bien abritée du vent et du soleil l'été. Bref, nous aimons beaucoup l'endroit !"

"The villa was constructed in the 18th century and fully renovated inside. It had 2 nice rooms with AC, living room and fully equipped kitchen. We loved having breakfast and dinner outside the villa while enjoying the view! Margherita was a great host and we appreciate her letting us to enjoy her place for few days! I highly recommend this place. It is also very well located at 12 mins by car to the Rifina train station, 40 mins to Florence and 50 mins to Chianti Classico region."

"We stayed at this very special villa for 6 nights in September. Our host, Guido, was exceptional and we really appreciated his hospitality. We traded maple syrup for olive oil and he invited us to join an evening with his friends and family and made Prosecco/maple syrup cocktails! The property is an historic villa with loads of charm and character and it felt very calming to be here. Two of our favourite meals were in nearby restaurants ( Mandri and La Bottega Di Castagneto).
