"The room was comfortable and warm. As we're elderly, the receptionist gave us a room near the lift which was very helpful. The waiting staff in the restaurant were very helpful and friendly. The main drawback was that Liverpool were playing and the volume of the big screen TVs was deafening meaning we had to scream our order to the bar staff. I also thought a minimum of £7.70 for a small glass and £9.50 for a large glass of ordinary house wine was far too expensive. I WILL return, but buy only...

The Dining area could have been more private as the guests entering and leaving the hotel was distracting and a bit noisy. On the first day their was an unpleasant odour coming from the bathroom and it took well over an hour to dissipate. It did not return during our 2 night stay. "I stayed here a few nights ago, no issues at all, my room was clean and tidy, breakfast was great. Every interaction with staff members was pleasant. My only tiny issue is and it may be my fault just as much - but the signage to the property isn’t fantastic and even though I know the area very well with living there for 8 years and I missed the turn off in thick fog granted, but it can be misleading.
