"The staff were all excellent and attractive. The room was comfortable. The spa-bath in our en-suit was a lithe noisy but fun. We enjoyed a swim in the pool, not huge, but not busy. The only negative was breakfast was not very hot but otherwise the restaurant dinner was lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Great location for exploring the south lakes and Furness peninsula. "

"Mainly fine. Friendly check in. Don't like the fact that my card was debited £50 despite assurance it wouldn't be. I had already paid so why the debit on my card? Hoping this is refunded ASAP .I understand a swipe in case of damage etc , but they should definitely not have taken a debit from it without my authority. BLACK MARK FOR THIS. A suggestion would be to provide disposable shower/bath sponges. Also bedroom walls are very thin meaning enforced listening to next room's conversation....

"Kirby lonsdale is a lovely quaint little village to visit, it has good walks, nice pubs/restaurants, hotels, cottages to stay in , shops with local produce, gift shops and l9cal to The Lakes and Yorkshire. "

"the location was incredible and the room was insane. A heads up there is no smoking at all on the premises, even if you have a room with a courtyardy space. you can also not have any takeaways, so it's not a place for a quiet night in. it suited us perfectly for what we needed for one night, but due to these 2 conditions reckon it is just a night thing. the toilet saniflow scares you at first with the noise but the toilet was so incredibly clean and spacious. "We were greeted on arrival by a very welcoming young lady who checked us in and showed us to our room. Room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Stayed to eat some lunch, service was friendly and efficient. After a wander round Lancaster, back to our room for showers and a change.
