Location is great with a good range of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance from the house and main attractions of Windermere a short drive away. 5 en-suite bathrooms were much appreciated given we were 4 separate families. Also a table we could all sit at at the same time also fab! Hot tub also appreciated!"

"Big house with great sized rooms and plenty space for our 15 adults and 5 children. Hot tub was great. Living space/bar area very roomy and open. The owners were very flexible with the Sunday checkout times which was nice of them. The kitchen is a professional kitchen (for the weekday BnB purpose I guess) so not quite the social space that you're used to in a more traditional house. "The property was large, clean, and furnished with everything I could need. Parking area is large, clean, and right outside the door to the property. Kitchen was kitted with quality equipment (pans, knives, utensils, etc) Bedrooms were fully equipped with everything you would expect. The rear of the property has excellent with good quality summer house. The property is very remote, and would recommend to drive to the property in daylight (at least for the first time) if you're not comfortable...

"Fantastic property in a lovely location. We walked to Bowness every day.Better than I think the listing captured - nice set up with bedrooms and bathroom coming off the long enterance hallway. Big living area and balcony and nice kitchen.More classic than ultra modern looking but we really liked that - and I think that's one reason it was better than we imagined.Exactly what we needed and great host communication"

" We stopped at Croft cottage over the Easter weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. As a party of 6 adults a baby and a small dog the house was plenty big enough for everyone and was fully equipped which made our stay pleasant. The gardens and views over the lake from the hot tub are beautiful and were perfect for an Easter egg hunt. "Enjoyed our stay, few issues. Advised off street parking but drive to short for average car and garage locked and filled with furniture. Water pressure very poor could not fill the bath at all as plug not sealing. Under Microwave very dirty and greecy. Cushions outside sodden wet,we dried and left inconsevatory. No control allowed on central heating."
