"We have been staying at the hotel for the past 15 years. We also recommend it to family and friends. We love the location and the appearance and lovely grounds. We hardly spent any time in the hotel on this occasion. Our room was lovely and spacious. The bathroom is looking tired but it is very clean. Breakfast was lovely, and ordered from the table. We feel that the hotel and Makeney is our "happy place". Overall, a lovely stay and we'll definitely be back. Thank you "

"Have stayed here before for work, property is convenient with breakfast and evening meal included in the price. Options in the restaurant for evening meal are pretty good, but it is cafeteria style. No irons available for the rooms, but there are areas with irons and boards available. Rooms are generally okay but some areas where it is getting tired or damaged."
