"Great location! Not far from the station at all. In fact it’s so convent to quickly hop on the station and it’s only 3 stops from Kyoto station. The staff were amazing. The rooms were clean. They had bikes available for guests and we were able to ride bikes around Kyoto. I would recommend you stay away from the shopping area as you cannot ride your bikes or park there. My only con of this place is the rooms are extremely small. So it made it very difficult for us to open are suitcases...

"After our tour in Kyoto ended we extended our stay for another 5 days and we need something more affordable and the Royal Park Canvas Nijo just fit our budget. We took the train from Kyoto station to Nijo and was pleasantly surprised that we can see the hotel from across the station and good thing for us we have been walking all day cold tired and it was raining so glad that it’s a very short walk from train station.
