"Tamukami is the quintessential rustic Balinese hotel. The position is perfect set down a quiet driveway away from busy Tamblingan Street that seems to pump non stop, and right opposite the new Icon shopping mall which takes you right through to the beautiful beach path Sanur is famous for. Our room was huge and clean with firm bed and large walk in shower as well as a large bathtub. Our room only rate was AU$80 which seemed a little steep to me but it was nice to have that old style Balinese...

"Property was fine for low budget travellers. Taps needed cleaning...lime or mold was on all taps. Shared kitchen...kettle was not as clean as it could be...thick deposit of lime inside...hot water lasted only 5 minutes when showering."

"Very basic place and for 20 dollars a night it is overpriced. Pillows and bedding were old and disgusting. Can smell sewage in some rooms because of poor drainage system, and saw a good-sized most universally disliked insect scattering around in the room. Sheets don't feel so clean either. Dripping water from AC and shower didn't drain well, but got fixed after telling them. Mouldy AC. Unusable WiFi. You have to tell them if you want your room cleaned.
