"We had a lovely stay at the Whitewater hotel. All the staff were very friendly. We stayed for 1 night with our 3 month old baby and was given a really spacious room on the ground floor with a travel cot. We did stay for dinner at the hotel. The starter was a bit disappointing and when the waiter asked why we hadn't finished it he took it off the bill. The lamb and the steak was lovely. Breakfast was also nice. "My second time in a year to the Lake District. Great Hotel and excellent rooms. My room was flooded with light and a big comfortable bed. Heating was great and the house keeping. The breakfasts are fantastic and certainly worth the indulgence. It’s located in a lovely village, with breweries, pubs, tea rooms and local craft shops. I highly recommend a stay. "
