However note the beach in front of the hotel is not private but can rent a shade and beds between 30k-50k pesos ($8-$12 USD ) a day. Always have small change on you for tips and local vendors and set price before buying on the beach or in the city. "

"While the room was a bit plain and dated, it was clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is in a great area that is safe and full of shopping and dining options. I highly recommend and plan to return. I give it a 4/5."

"They should improve the basic amenities as they dont provide shampoo, nor do they have towels for the beach especially considering there is no pool. Additionally, there was no hair dryer, and they should also have a mini fridge to allow guests to keep drinks cold. A good thing to mention is that the hotel is very centrally located near shops and close the beach. "

"We had a great time at Isla del Sol! It was very nice to be able to relax and unplug. All of the staff were so nice. I think it’s worth noting that while Google Maps shows that there are other restaurants in walking distance, they both appeared to be closed. There wasn’t really other food options, so the full board option may be the correct choice! "
