"Stayed here for 5 nights with my adult children during cherry blossom season. We were so impressed with the hotel and its staff we changed our plans to travel to Osaka, and instead extended our stay in Kyoto two more nights. The hotel is centrally located near great shopping, restaurants, sites, and transportation. The staff is so kind and helpful. "Liked - Unique design of rooms and common areas. Luggage self storage area is awesome! Strength of shower water pressure was outstanding. Not very fond of very limited breakfast selection. Also mattress does not stay in place if you sit up in bed. Wish there was a little more storage room. Need more towel hanging area. "

"Excellent location as we took Hankyu train from Osaka and Kintetsu train to Nara. Karasuma subway entrance was right at front of Hotel. Next door was the Nishijin Museum and downstairs was Starbucks! Staff was so helpful, especially with sending luggage by courier service. "

"The hotel was nice, and in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful too. My only criticism was the noise in and around the hotel from other guests which did affect my sleep somewhat as the building has quite low sound proofing between rooms due to the building. If you are a light sleeper, this is something to consider, otherwise a great hotel and location."

"The staff was excellent and so helpful. The location is perfect to catch the 207, 202, 208 bus to multiple temples, shopping districts, and other tourist spots. It's very close to Kyoto station and was convenient to take the Shinkassen bullet train to Tokyo. The buffet breakfast was excellent offering Japanese and western food. The quality and quantity of the food was excellent. Overall extremely satisfied and of course will stay here again next time in Kyoto. "
