"Overall good place to stay. It’s close to public transport. My only concern is the lightning in the room is a bit dark and hurt my eyes. There will be a few stairs if your room is located at the other end of the hall way (further side from the lift). Room is warm and bed is comfy. "

"Holiday inn express is quite a constantly good hotel chain.Room was not quite as comfy as usual due to lack of sofa,have stayed in several different holiday inn express always booking a double room Glasgow,aberdeen, edinburgh airport all with sofas.Breakfast on day one was good but on day two not so good some food was cold and the rolls were a bit stale. Overall still good value for money and very comfy beds."

"Hotel is 10 min walk from Edinburgh Waverley station and walking distance to all the main sites in Edinburgh. Saw a few negative, reviews on the Ibis check in website for this hotel, but other than a congested reception area at times, receptionists were excellent and friendly, the room I had was quite large and very quiet, including the whole floor.
