"Great place , clean, friendly staff , room was a good size for 2 people. The only thing to keep in mind is that it is 35 min walking from the center."

"A nice hostel to visit and within walking distance of everywhere. We had a private ensuite, which made our stay great and the breakfast and cheap drinks were value for money."

They also shy away from the idea of the need to share a bathroom and toilet with others. "This is a nice place to stay in Edinburgh if you are intending to be out most of the time and don't need a fancy hotel! It's very much a hostel but it's in a quieter area of the city with lots of nice cafes and brunch places around. Easy 20 min walk from the station. Clean enough but it is an old town house so not immaculate! "

"The staff were great. The place was a very close walk to the tram , which was amazing for getting around the city. The place was clean and the building felt secure. As a student dorm , it was as expected, nothing flashy but that’s all that was needed to enjoy the city. There is a grocery store and a Starbucks very close which was also very convenient. "

"Comfortable walk ro Princess Street, Castle , shops, pubs etc There is a bus stop right outside the door if walking is not an option The one suggestion I would make is for guests to bring eye madks, as the curtains are very thin and the outside street lights shine right into the bedrooms facing the front street Kitchen is very well equipped, showers have good water pressure, lots of hot water, "

"This is the perfect location! We were able to park our car (£20/night) and was in walking distance to most other places. It was across the street from various restaurants and close to The Vennel and one of the Edinburgh Sightseeing bus stops as well as one of the Lothian bus stops. Steps from Victoria Street and only a few more steps to the Royal Mile and Princes Street Gardens. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. We booked a balcony room with views of the castle and loved it! The breakfast was quite a spread and very tasty! Would definitely recommend. "

"Amazing customer service. Faye greeted me at the front desk and checked me in early, walked me to my room and helped carry my bags. I felt spoiled in the best way. I had expiation service from all staff. The pool and spa were amazing. I can’t express enough how great this place is! 12/10! "
