"Great location for landmarks, easy walk to lots of train stations. Comfy beds, small but normal rooms. Lots of food options outside. Amenities looking little old, great free alcohol, beer, drinks, ice cream etc. Average breakfast for westerner but large variety. Onsen just outside but nice & massage chairs were appreciated. House keeping staff left dirty towels & rubbish in hallways which isn’t nice to look at. Near a fire station so heard sirens at night, can be busy in lobby & lifts due to...

"Ok spot for the price! Nice lobby but rooms were ok but whole floor we were staying smelled like smoke and front desk didn’t seem to care. Was definitely run by younger generation lots of university kids more of a “party” hotel close to the main city. Bar was closed during our stay so didn’t get to try it! "

"Rooms very small, no bathroom, shower cubicle opens into bedroom with nowhere to hang towels or clothes, sharing a room with my 13yr old son and having to walk out of the shower into the room to retrieve towel an have nowhere to dress other than the shared space is not ideal. Kettle an cups provided but not tea/ coffee etc. Bus transfer was efficient and booked easily via the QR code in room "
