"Good rooms and facilities. Nice bar area and very good food. Excellent breakfast. Only concern was that the service was rather slow during the evening meal meaning that we when we tried to order dessert we were informed that the kitchen had closed (our reservation was at 7.30pm). However, when I complained at Reception, my complaint was resolved very quickly and to our satisfaction."

"1st impression, the hotel was a bit dated on the outside. Loads of spaces for parking. Just remember to validate your vehicle reg on the tablet in reception.Check in was easy, staff polite and pleasant. The place was busy.Plenty of space in the bar/reception area. Room was ok. We were put in a room overlooking the road. Double glazed windows didn't close properly. You could hear traffic outside and people talking as they walked past. The room was ideal for the evening, the only negative was we couldn't turn the radiator off or down. Staff throughout were very helpful and friendly. Also the pillows are terrible- made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. I appreciate you can’t do anything about the soundproofing in such a lovely old building but the pillows are a very cheep easy fix Would stay again but not whilst working! "
