"Very cool, retro early 60’s hotel that’s been well preserved. So many great things to say about this hotel great staff very welcoming excellent transportation shuttle options. The views are amazing huge patio with lounge chairs to relax and soak in the view of Mount Fuji many dining options. The buffet was excellent, filled with traditional Japanese and American breakfast choices known for its onson/Spa this hotel is truly a step back in time and such a treat. "Excellent location and good rooms. The beds were definitely on the firm side and you may want to skip the industrial style complimentary breakfast buffet which had very limited western style choice."

"We had a great overnight stay in Gotemba. The only negative was the bed was so hard. I like a firm mattress but this was beyond firm. The breakfast buffet was excellent. "
