"This is a Japanese hotel, in an area with a lot of Japanese and Korean restaurants and shops. The area is quite different to the old town - very few tourists but pretty nice. The hotel itself was a basic clean Japanese style. Good room and bathroom. Staff really only speak very basic English but are nice. "

"We were 5 in our group looking for inexpensive option to relax while waiting for 12:01 am flight to Manila after Ha Long bay cruise which ended noon time. Booked 2 clean family rooms which cost us $90. Couldn't been happier as we were able to rest and shoot pool and shower before our very early flight. Too cold to use the pool at roof top in late March but very nice view of airport tarmac from rooftop. Cost us $23 to hire a 16 seater van to take us to HAN. Highly recommended this place for...

"Nice hotel. Min a 10 - 15 minute walk to anywhere. Staff was either very friendly or slightly dismissive. Recommend room with garden view… no noise. "

"Perfect place. So many things we've enjoyed. From the wonderful service and hospitality, the quiet room, the lovely breakfast with view, the comfortable beddings, lots of storage, the 24/7 front desk, the short walk to the lake, everything. The location also worked for us. We stayed in the family suite facing the lake with a large bakcony, and enjoyed having lots of light and view of the lake during the day and quiet nights with very limited noise coming from the street thanks to good windows....
