"My daughter and I went for her birthday weekend. We arrived late (after check in), we communicated with the hotel prior and this was ok. When we arrived we were greeted kindly. "from the outside, the buildings appear that they had their best timesnlong over; inside, the corridors and rooms are nicely refurbished, room was spacious with comfy beds and spacious terrace with nice views; towels are only changed once a week (unless paid for early exchange), same with housekeeping, so it's ok for a short stay but would not recommend staying loblnger than a few days; the area is very quiet so not ideal for families with kids that would like some more fun"

Was offered to upgrade to the Penthouse with all round views, hot tub and bed & breakfast for £300 extra for 3 of us - so why not. Been several times so knew what was on offer. No hot water for showers until part way into 2nd day. Room wasn't cleaned for check in time 4pm. Hot tub was cleaned either until day 3 - certainly not what was expected for upgrade fee....
