"I don’t really know what to say about this place. In some ways, I loved it! We booked a 1 bedroom villa and were given a huge villa with 4 bed and 2 bedrooms. It had a lovely screened in porch that we spent hours on. We felt like we were in a treehouse. The villa was clean. Daily breakfast was simple but delicious and service was friendly and prompt. On the other hand, the management of this place seemed to not be putting a lot into maintenance and upkeep. The walkway to our villa desperately...

We even saw a sloth and monkeys while enjoying the delicious complimentary buffet breakfast! I also cannot say enough about how truly friendly and welcoming all of the hotel staff are. The hotel is very accessible to restaurants, hot springs, and the La Fortuna Waterfall. We have absolutely loved our stay here...

"This is an eclectic place near the lake in a very small town. The people who ran it were fantastic and the food was delicious and plentiful. They upgraded us for free. We were there during a storm and there were few other places to go to eat so we did feel like we were out in the middle of nowhere. Which might have been more fun if we’ve been able to do some hiking and driving that was impossible due to the rain. "
