If we were staying in San Juan for longer than a night I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here long term. Locally owned instead of big time corporate accommodations. Affordable, safe, clean and every staff member greeted us with a smile and hello! I highly recommend Hotel Del Sol for local flair and a good night rest. "The hotel was nice. Very clean, nicely decorated. The only issue that I had was that at the middle of the night the fire alarm started to sound. Went to the front desk to ask what happened since I didn’t see guests or personnel running outside, they just mentioned it was a misunderstanding or error without any apologies. If that would not happened, I would have sleep better that night. Nevertheless, the hotel has a good location. Also it provides parking which is a huge plus. "

"There is a lot of noise every day from 8 am to 5 pm because they are working on the pool. No restaurant in the place or other thing more than a little caffe that closes at 3 pm with very few choices. I founded very safe, well located and the people in the front desk were very helpful . "We had a lovely stay! The customer service team was outstanding; always courteous and friendly. The breakfast was good with hot choices. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate was available 24 hours. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable. The pool was not as big as the photos led you to believe, but it didn’t matter because we were the only ones in it. The hot tub was also nice. We will definitely come back! "

"We wanted to give the highest rating for this hotel but there were a few issues that must be mentioned. The bathroom was our biggest disappointment. It was just tiny and the least resort-like feature. Although very stylish in design, the basin was very narrow with no space for toiletries, and the faucet willingly shoots past the front of bowl if opened fully (and does so rather easily). The other bathroom issue is the step up - I stubbed my toe a couple of times during our stay. One more issue...
