"Jessica and Ruben are great people and hosts. As others have written, Ruben's breakfasts are hard to beat, even in 5-star hotels! The property's proximity to the south entrance to El Yunque is a primary reason we selected it. Anyone considering staying here should understand that the accommodations are stylish but basic. "The property is beautiful, clean, and serene as the name says. It is located in a rural area but very close to the highway and El Yunque National Park. Maribel and Pablo were great hosts, treated us like family. Included breakfast and special dinner were outstanding. It is a very nice and cozy experience. Definitely will come back. "

"The proprietor did not know he had guests staying with them. When I called he was surprised . First it is not what is advertised in the Expedia website. The location requires a 4x4, not a little truck, a Jeep Wrangler to get to it. The road to the location is not paved at all. It is all rocks, dirt, ruts on the ground and its location is high in the mountain, with gully’s and embankments to the jungle which could not be accessed by another vehicle (fire truck, ambulance or rescue). "We felt miles away,but everything was very close. I felt like being in a romantic tree house.. Great location for all events, restaurants and rainforest. The owners were very quick and friendly when we call for an issue. The breakfast was lacking,fruit was not fresh and very limited choices.The room was smaller/tighter than it appeared in pics."

Beautiful family vacation

"We enjoyed our family vacation to this property. There was a lot to do with the beach, 3 different pools and multiple restaurants. The food was good and service was very friendly. Only issue was getting our rooms cleaned when we were out of our room each day. "

"The breakfast buffet is great and kids eat free. The pool is a little cold on most days but there is a warm jacuzzi that’s kind of small for 10 people. The slides were fun for the kids. I wish the breakfast was included because the cost of the rooms are quite high all year around. The beach is nice but it’s a red flag beach so swimming is dangerous. We enjoyed the waves but watched our children like hawks. The terrazzo restaurant gelato is delicious. Many restaurant around the hotel at walking distance. Overall a pleasant stay. "

"We had a wonderful time at this resort. This property offered everything that we needed (Amazing beach, breathtaking views, pool, hot tub, beach chairs and umbrellas, bars, coffee shop, hammocks, clean rooms and friendly staff). Hotel was close proximity to airport and other activities with many restaurants to choose nearby. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it offers a lot with friendly staff. We would definitely visit again! "
