"We had the junior suite. Shower doors did not close well, so lots of water on the floor. It was above the bar so could hear some noise as well creaking from the room above. A bit cramped as far as floor space, toilet was on the second floor which was a surprise. Breakfast was great however, and location is central which is also good. If we came back to Newcastle again we would try a different hotel. Other rooms may be different, so only commenting on the junior suite."

"Just a one night stay in the area. I only paid £41 for the night so didn’t expect too much. Perfect location for the sea front and Spanish City, town centre in easy walking distance. Rooms at the front will have a fabulous view when work is completed. Firstly the hotel is undergoing major renovations so looks a mess at the front - new bar and dining facilities planned.
