While the narrow, steep stairs, compact rooms, and limited soundproofing—typical of London buildings—might be a concern for some, the hotel is super clean and thoughtfully designed to make the most of the small space for a tidy and comfortable stay. "For the price paid (which wasn’t too high) this was an adequate place to stay for one night - I think I spent less than 11 hours in the room/at the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the although the shower / toilet set up won’t be for everyone, as a solo traveller, it was fine. What I didn’t like was having to venture to the end of the corridor for a cuppa in the morning. Also, the lack of fridge in the room for the average prices this Ruby Zoe isn’t acceptable. "Comfortable bedroom in basement, had all mod cons, not luxurious but modern and clean, recently refurbished . Felt a bit of train rumble as very close to Victoria but this did not disturb my sleep. Very convenient location for exploring London. "
