"Casa Luna definitely set the mood for our Rain Forest excursion. Beautiful Resort Like Hotel with a lush landscape setting. It felt very secluded even though it was an only a 5 minute from the main street. The rooms are very private, spacious and clean. Our balcony had a view of the volcano. The grounds are very well maintained, we enjoyed the 6 hot tubs nestled away from the main pool. The staff was friendly and attentive. Nice dining in the restaurant .The message topped off our experience."

"The property is one of its kind and rated well with my expectations. The location is prominent enough with plenty of food options within and close by (within 5 min drive). The hot springs were the best part and parking was super convenient. Food was decent however, lacks variety. Morning breakfast was not the best and could have been better on both variety and quantity. Specially during the lag 30 min before closing. Restaurant staff were not that friendly and lacked energy. Not a deal breaker,...

"The idea of this hotel is lovely- a tropical oasis with well planted gardens on the edge of the very busy town of La Fortuna, 5 mins walk to the main streets. The rooms are fine and spacious. The main problem is that the pool is tiny (more of a bath and crowded with children most of the day). If you don’t need a pool and want a base for exploring La Fortuna and the adventure activities in the region then the hotel is good. If relaxing by a pool is more your thing then this isn’t the place."

"My favorite hotel on my first trip to Costa Rica! Staff was very helpful, welcoming and kind. It had a gorgeous view of Volcán Arenal! Cute deck common area with lots of lounging and games. I love how they have free breakfast and a recommendation of local food and adventure items. I would definitely stay there again! "

"The property was right off the main road which made it convenient to get to. Parking could be a bit tight depending on the day. The property had a restaurant and there was sushi outside also. The property was otherwise not walkable to get much else. Rooms were very clean and well taken care of. The bungalow we stayed in was wonderful and looked out at the Volcano. Pools were clean. The gonna were well manicured and looked after. "
