"A very good place to go when you want luxury in tamarindo. The rooms are nice. The hotel is big but accommodates everyone easily. It was nice to have easy access to town and the stores and restaurants. It’s the type of high end resort that gives you direct access to the town itself. Breakfast was always great and the ocean views were spectacular."

"Great resort with great staff. The only areas that need improvement are: 1. The dinner food isn't the best. 2. the pool chairs at the main pool area don't match and aren't as comfortable as the adult pool and beach club chairs."

"Excellent views, food options are lacking as only one basic buffet for all meals and very limited choices. It could be so much more with the fantastic views. Our unit was a good size but was located far away from main pool and restaurant which is not what I expected, it was infested with ants and cockroaches. We had ants in our king bed!!! Service was great when we told them and came out right away to spray unit but never should have happened in first place. "

"This is our fourth time at the Wyndham Tamarindo. I understand it is under new management, and although the setting is wonderful and the pool and the beach club are great, some of the services have deteriorated. The bus service to town and the beach is now every hour instead of every half hour. Sometimes, there are more people than seats, and individuals have to wait for 20 minutes for the bus to return for a pickup, or people are sitting in the aisles or sitting too many to a seat.
