The staff were so helpful and friendly, we had an upgrade on our room because hotels.com had overbooked and the staff were very good about it. "The location is great, near the centre of the town The related Erskine Arms is lovely with attentive and helpful staff and nice food. The breakfasts were very really good. Nice big rooms and plenty of hot water. The only downside was the beds. In our first room, the mattress needed replacing, as the springs had gone. In the second, the plastic mattress protector made for a sweaty night. The staff were very helpful in arranging a room change. Book a table for dinner at a weekend. As it turned out...
