"The room was a bit small but adequate. Downside there were quite a few stairs but no lift. Will definitely go again but will stay on a lower floor. The staff were fantastic , friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Cooked breakfast was one of the best ive ever had. Loads of food , good choices. Hotel situated in ideal place , near the pier and everything within easy walking distance. Beautiful view over the bay with sea view room. Will definitely return to this hotel "

"We visited the hotel for a 3 night stay to incorporate The Welsh Open Snooker tournament as a birthday gift for my husband. The owner is lovely and couldnt do enough for you. The room was decorated as it was valentine's evening when we arrived, it was super nice and a huge suprise to have fresh rose petals and two romantic balloons on the bed. "Lytnon house is a lovely B&B to stay.The accommodation is of a very high standard.It is spotlessly clean.The breakfast is very good with plenty of choice and cooked fresh to your individual requirements. "I stayed 2 nights in the Merrydale Guest house Fri-Sun, attending a Conference. Check in was quick and easy. Bed was really comfortable, plenty of space in the room. Coffee/tea, hot cocolate provided in the room. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Cooked breakfast was excellent, hot, and set you right up for the day"

"Comfortable and lovely as ever. Beautifully quiet at night and just across the road from the cycle path. I felt well cared for while given plenty of space to myself. Everything was great and they were very communicative and lovely to chat with at breakfast. Will stay again as soon as I can. "

"The only problem was we took our dogs and due to not having proper fencing our dogs could get out. This does need attending to as it is a dog friendly cottage"

"My husband and I opted for a short holiday in Wales and chose to go to Conwy. We chose the Erskine Arms based off reviews and it was even better than we expected. We had a large bedroom with a full bath. Plenty of electrical outlets, a kettle with an array of coffee and tea and plenty of extra blankets. The room remained a comfortable temperature with a radiator in the room - we opened and closed the window as needed. One of the best things about the Erskine Arms is the location. Once we parked, our car stayed parked until we left. We walked all over the town. The castle is literally right across the street. We enjoyed the short river cruise, ice cream ant Parisella’s, sausage rolls from Edwards and spent time in a pub called The Albion. We dined at the Erskine Arms both nights and the food was outstanding. We also took advantage of the complementary Full Welsh breakfast each morning. I would fully recommend The Erskine Arms. You will not be disappointed. "

A solo visit

"Friendly welcome and an easy check in. I was visiting to attend the Welsh Open Snooker so didn't spend much time in the hotel. My single room was cheap in price but well set up and very clean. Great bed and shower. Nice range of courtesy drinks in the room. I didn't buy breakfast so I cannot comment on food or bar service. I will stay here again"
