"Staff were great. I had to ask for a clean cup as the ones in my room looked like they hadn't been washed properly. The tray which the tea and coffee was dusty. I think that the bedrooms could possibly do with a bit of make over. But other than that everything was ok."

"This was a remarkable historic place to stay with so much architectural character in the old building. Just sitting in the bar having a drink by the huge historic fireplace was a wonderful experience! The grounds, walk to the canal and adjacent church were equally amazing. We also had a lovely dinner and breakfast but the building itself and grounds was a highlight of our 2 week visit to the Cotswolds!"

"Had a great stay. Was able to park right next to hotel. Room was clean, comfortable & cosy. Lovely ensuite, clean & constant hot water when needed. Breakfast had a fantastic choice - service excellent. Hotel was small but warm & cosy & inviting. Loved how near it was to shops & restaurants - walking distance."

"When we stayed overnight, the hotel was undergoing renovations in areas, which, without sounding too negative, it does need it from the age of the property, but we can appreciate they are undertaking this while still trying to operate the business. The staff were lovely and helpful throughout. The accomodation is located primarily in a courtyard area, which has a unique feel. We did have to be moved rooms as the new heating in the room we were allocated wasn't working. I did like the first room...
