"I opted for the small room with no windows as i am only there to sleep. But it was small and mo where to put my larger suitcase. Luckily i am a solo traveler so i put it on the other side of the bed."

Virtually opposite the Scott Monument and on the arterial road (Princes Street) with Waverley station an easy 5 minutes walk away and good tram/bus links to the airport. 5 mins past Waverley Station, you've walked onto the Royal Mile leading to Edinburgh Castle at one end with Holyrood Palace at the other.
