"So far the best hotel we have stayed at in Scotland. The room was far above our expectations. The bathroom has a roman tub, a shower, dual sinks. Water pressure was excellent. The bed had a very tall and stylish headboard. The closet was very deceiving. It revealed a huge room with a vanity and a mirror. The food was excellent. Despite the restaurant being so busy, the staff went out of their way to find us a table. The staff is the jewel crown. We will stay here the next time we are in town. "

"Nice modern hotel with good room facilities but make sure you bring snacks as there is no bar or restaurant which is pretty unusual. There’s a Sainsbury’s local and Greggs 5mins away but ideally wouldn’t have to nip out (and pay more) for it on a Sunday morning. No parking also a bit of a pain but we got lucky on the street outside. Corner end room on upper floor had super views of the castle."
