"The room was exactly as depicted on the website. Breakfasts were great, and we saw some beautiful birds right on the property (motmot and parrot). We were given misinformation about a tour and were told that the park entrance fee was included but it was not. Overall, we would stay at this property again."

"The property was fabulous. We had a 3 bedroom cabin and each bedroom had it's own bathroom. It was nicely furnished. We didnt cook, but all the necessities were there. The grounds were amazing! There were wonderful hiking trails and a lookout where you could see to the Pacific Ocean. There was a hydroponic garden where you could pick vegetables. My grandson loved the hammock on the deck. The whole experience was so peaceful. I highly recommend this property! "

"We stayed here as a family of 4 in March with two teenage boys, in the family room. It had a frosted glass door entrance, and then beyond that was two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. One bedroom had two twin beds and a TV, the other had a queen bed and no TV. Bathroom had a standup shower. Water was plenty hot but the pressure is very low. "Beautiful location, stunning mountain views and the clouds just roll on in to your balcony. Walking distance to some cool places and restaurants. They have a good shuttle service to the forest. Only feedback is some of the staffs attitudes, 2 of the employees were helpful, friendly and kind. The rest seemed snobby and almost judgemental. Could've been 5 stars if it weren't for that. We were WELL AWARE of our checkout time, yet walked by the front desk and stated we are going to pack. 5 minutes...

"Location up in the rain forest was beautiful. Really felt far removed from town, even though it really wasn’t that far. Staff is amazing; attentive and friendly. The view from the main lodge was so peaceful. Rooms are large albeit a little spartan but I do appreciate their eco practices. The food at the restaurant was the best we had while in Costa Rica."

"This was most interesting stay on my Costa Rica vacation, a somewhat quirky but comfortable beach hotel. My room was clean, spacious, the AC was working well, and the poolside room helped make it pretty quiet (a beach bar was across the street playing music). The bathroom had a jacuzzi style tub with a hand shower, no standup shower which I much prefer. There is no light or switch by the bed, so my cellphone served as a temporary nightlight. "We spend 2 nights at Chira Glamping. The pod is clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the jacuzzi listening to the birds. Perfect! We dined at their restaurant on our first night which was spectacular. Breakfasts were relaxed. We also used the concierge service to book a night walking tour and a cloud forest tour. We enjoyed these experiences greatly."

"The complex was serene! Felt nice to have our own space with outdoor space as well. It felt like we were in our own little villa. Was able to even see wild animals within the property itself! Also met one of the owners and he was very friendly. The only downside is that the roads getting to the property are very rough so a AWD car is recommended"
