"We stayed in Casa Verde for 3 days while we explored Monteverde. I love the location as it was away from the town but relatively close. We could walk to the Cloud Forest (make sure you get your passes first though). The house itself was well stocked, although it could have used a heat source as it was pretty cold at night. We took advantage of the hot tub which was a nice treat after our day hikes. Highly recommend checking out El Tigre Waterfalls and Selvatura while in the area. "

"The name says it all - this is the perfect getaway in the forest for a large group or family (we had 11). The house is multi-leveled with outdoor access to each level. The outdoor stairway is cleverly sheltered by an external roof, which is perfect since it's in the cloud forest and there were frequent mist showers with a gentle warmness from the forest.
