The hotel staff were very professional and accommodating by providing excellent service. The hotel was conveniently located close to all of the restaurants and many of the points of interest. The hotel is very walkable but is at the top of a little hill so, wearing appropriate shoes is important. Very comfortable hotel and even had a smart TV in the room which allowed us to watch Netfix in the evening. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

This property was perfect! The view of monteverde is incredible. Your reservation includes breakfast, which was delicious. Overall, all the staff had great communication and were very attentive. I will definitely be coming back to enjoy this property longer!

The property is modern and in good condition. The rooms were large and ours had a fabulous view towards the ocean and downtown Santa Elena. The staff was great, especially Ana and Alison at the front desk. I would stay here again.

The property is amazing and the staff even more so!! The grounds are immaculate and the view of the cloud forest breath taking. We woke up to a flat tire and Anna and Allison couldn’t have been more helpful in getting us to our morning excursion and on our way afterwards. Without their help we might still be there. This property is fantastic. The rooms are very spacious. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. They surprised my husband with a birthday cake made of towels and fresh flowers left in our room. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Ficus Monterverde. We loved the spacious clean rooms with beautiful views (we were on the 2nd floor of the building the most higher up the hill), beautiful grounds and gardens, welcoming and helpful reception staff (cool towels and welcoming juice - nice attention!). I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Monterverde.
