"A fabulous place to stay whilst exploring the lakes. Lovely breakfast with glorious views. Leisure and gym small and needing a little bit of a refresh but a nice option to have. Views are stunning, food good and bar good but a little pricey, but given Windermere is about 20 minutes away and taxis are pricey, it seemed a sensible option to stay put. Overall a great place."

"The lodge bar and restaurant was closed during my stay and I collected my room key by calling a number then opening a lock box. This was fine and no trouble. The room was basic but clean and tidy with everything I needed, tea, coffee, kettle, milk, soap etc. I was on my own for a one night stay and the location was great with plenty of parking. I travelled by motorcycle so it was to find plenty of things to chain it to. Even with the bar closed there were plenty of places to eat and drink...

Great Weekend Break
"Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping areas are full. A great base if you want to explore the Lake District."
